I was asked about photography by an employee at a feed mill.

He asked how hard it was.

I told him physically it wasn’t very hard. Mentally it could kill you (haha)

I tried to top line what I saw and why some images worked for me. Top lined exposure, lense choice etc.

Finally I picked up my V1 and walked around the warehouse with him for five minutes and giving a narrative as I walked and took pictures. In the end my narrative means squat, it’s all in the images. They must stand or fall on their own merit.

He understood in the end there was more to making a photograph than just pushing a button.
